Good Day … From the Other Side
In my post “A Home So Full Of Life” I promised I would tell you further stories about this family and their home… So here we go! This story begins on a day perhaps about a year, maybe a bit more, after the first story I told you. By this time, I was now teaching at a private school located at the same historic site where my friend and I had worked as Historical Interpreters and Educators. My friend was back to story telling full time. I invited her to come and do a story telling session for my students. After the session, I was helping my friend pack up her minivan and then I said goodbye. She still had a few more things to put in the van. As she bent down to get one of them, a lovely older woman stopped to chat with her. This lady was dressed in perfect 1830’s attire. My friend immediately thought she was a Historical Interpreter working at the site and was impressed with the effort put into the clothing she was wearing.
