Spiritual Gifts - What’s in a Name?

Image
Today I have been thinking about all the seers I know and how different each of their gifts are, even when they are described as being similar. Some have one or two abilities or connections, while others are blessed with more. When I first started out as a spiritual medium, I struggled with what to call myself… what description of my abilities was the best fit? I do see and connect with ghosts and spirits; but I also sometimes see future events or help people with unwanted spirit in their homes or places of business. A medium is a wide ranging term that describes a person who speaks with the dead. My guides or spirits around me often help me see things that may happen in the near future. So, in the end, a spiritual medium is my best fit. I connect with loved ones on the other side to bring messages of love, hope and healing to those left here in this world. Other titles I could have chosen include: Clairvoyant - someone who sees future events Psychic - similar to a medium, it can inclu...

The Infinity Symbol

Image
The infinity symbol… Tonight, in meditation, spirit has had me drawing the infinity symbol over and over and over again. I often do automatic writing during meditation, but tonight I feel the spirit guiding it is that of a specific person that I have never met in this world, but was and is still loved by many I know.  Family friends of my husband lost their grandmother recently and her Celebration of Life was held today. Sometimes I would think that the feeling of her here was just me wishing I had known her; but, I have heard her talking in the background of my mind all day. Her accent was so prominent, that I knew it must be her. Tonight, I feel her so strongly. I know that she has been with me all day trying to send a message to her family… the infinity symbol.  Throughout the  ancient civilizations on earth, there have been many symbols used to represent infinity. In Asia, the yin and yang symbol, the Celts used the Celtic knot, the Greeks debated the idea of  al...

I connected with these staves as soon as I opened the bag they arrived in. They are like old friends that have returned to me. I am now using them every day for my daily pulls. I will soon be offering them as a part of my readings in place of tarot or runes if my clients so choose. I will update you more as I continue to connect with my old friends. “The Witch City” - Salem Massachusetts

Image
Hi Everyone! I’ve been away for a few posts; but I’m back and ready to blog! So here we go… Cheers to my amazing daughter who, a few weeks ago, went to visit Salem Massachusetts. She brought me back this fabulous mug. Salem has long been a place I have wanted to visit, but have yet to be able to cross it off my bucket list. Salem is known as the witch city, due to the witch trials that were held there in the late 1600’s. Salem was first settled in 1626. It is the second oldest settlement in Massachusetts. It is perhaps a city best known for the witch trials held there between 1692 and 1693. Many Christians at this time held the strong belief that the Devil was a part of witchcraft. They believed that the Devil gave witches the power to harm others. Salem was not the only place where fear led to witch trials occurring. From the 1300’s to the 1600’s there were many witch trials held throughout Europe. At the time of the trials in Salem, more than 200 people were accused of practicing wit...
