Synchronicity

Cue the song Synchronicity by the Police…Today I pulled the Temperance card from my tarot deck, and the first thing that came into my head was this song. This song and this card are about the occurrence of meaningful coincidences that seem to have no common cause. This card is also about my guides putting people or situations in my path to help me stop from resisting change. In more simplistic terms, I need to go with the flow and move forward with my life.

I have had two such conversations about this today, with two different people, at two different times. I feel like this time, the synchronicity is about my career path, that spirit is trying to tell me something. However, these two previous conversations have brought me back to thinking about the greatest occurrence of synchronicity I have experienced.

It all began about 5 years ago. I had been very ill for over 4 months. I was finally starting to recover just around Christmas time. My illness prevented me from driving for a short time. To  ‘go home’ for the holiday to spend time with my daughter, parents and other relatives. I needed someone who could drive my car. Unknown to me at that moment of time, my mother was having a conversation with a friend from her sewing group. Long story short, our mothers discovered that her son and myself had been born in the same hospital, on the same day and in the same year. Our mothers did not know each other back then and had never spoken about their ‘children’ (now very much adults) before. He had also been ill and did not have a car, but he did have a drivers licence. So, we eventually speak and agree to meet to drive ‘home’ together. A 4 hour drive turned into an 8 hour drive due to a snow storm, but we made it. After stating for a long time before I met him that I would never get married again, we have now been married for 2 weeks and 6 six days. I look forward to many happy years to come!!! Sometimes spirit and moms do know best!

I look forward to spirits’ continued presence in my life helping and guiding me through life, or going with the flow, as it were.

Peace and Happiness
