The Mystery of the Unknown

Today I picked the rune Perthro to start my day. This rune speaks to me about divination, intuition, mystery and destiny. Perthro reminds me that perceived outcomes are not necessarily fixed. It is possible to change your perceived destiny. The mystery of this rune is that we may not be able to see our actual destiny until we take a certain path. We all have choice or the power of free will. Divination can help us to see the possible directions to go; but, it is also wise to then spend time listening your own inner counsel before choosing your path. Sometimes we choose the correct path, other times we do not. The universe will provide other opportunities to choose correctly as we go about living our lives.

I sit here reflecting how this has played out in my life. I have headed down several career paths in this life. Most had potential… most were interesting… most were in areas that I had skill… but none of them until now were my true path. It took me many years to finally find this path. Now I spend my time helping others communicate with loved ones or finding their paths. Through communication with spirit, I continue to grow and learn more about my path every day. But what I have learned from my journey to this point, was that all of these previous paths I walked have led me here to this path. Without them, would I have found my path? The answer is a mystery… it is the unknowable.

Some of the paths I took were other peoples wishes for me… and I respectfully listened and followed. Then, Spirit would gently intervene and remind me that there was another possible path. So, I would leave the first path and follow another, and so on and so forth. The problem was that I often still took others advice and I forgot how to really listen to my own inner counsel. Spirit again intervened, over and over, until I finally understood which way to go.

I hope you find your path. Remember that finding your path can be a process, and in time, you will find your way.

Peace and Happiness, Dagaz 💕
