Ultimate Success
We all have days were we feel we just need to withdraw from the world for a few moments. Today is one of those days for me. Unfortunately, the universe doesn’t always allow for those opportunities. To begin my day today, I pulled the tarot card the Seven of Wands. Wands are the cards of “Doing”. They represent the element of fire, or the energy or drive to keep moving forward. This particular card is the card of doing and finding ultimate success. As if this weren’t enough to motivate me, I then pulled the Rune Nauthiz. This is the Rune of Need. It emotes the idea that hard work will get you what you need in the end. It also represents the idea of fire and energy. So, I am obeying the universe and getting on with my work. Today part of that work includes writing this Blog…Which of course I love to do… So here we go…
All of information I received in my morning pulls today made me start thinking about a time in my life when things were so busy, I barely had time to stop and smell the roses. I was a single mom with a teenage daughter who was involved in so many extra curricular activities and at my job I worked full time and then some. My job at the time was as an educator at a historic site with many different historic buildings. There were some days when I had to go to a specific building to prepare activities for the children to participate in. This building could seem quite, almost lonely. But, other days this building was alive with spirit. I would walk in the door and was able to smell what seemed like thousands of roses in the tiny parlour. This smell would happen no matter the season - early Spring to late Fall. It was as if spirit was actually telling me to stop and smell the roses, to catch my breath for a moment. Looking back, I think it was my angels taking the moment in this lovely little room, away from the rest of the world, well, at least away from the rest of the museum. No one else ever experienced this fragrance in that building, just me… But, suppose I have always been clairalient (the ability for a person to acquire psychic knowledge by means of smelling).
Ever since my grandpa passed away when I was six years old, I have been able to smell his special brand of pipe tobacco when he is around visiting me. He especially visits with me during times of great stress in my life. His visits fill me with a sense of calm. When I was little, he came to live with my family for a short time after my granny died and we developed a close bond. I also think he was large part of a past life we experienced together.
With all of those memories and many more of family and spirit, I continue to work today… “to do” what needs to be done to find ultimate success.
Peace and Happiness
